There are also highland dance competitions with over 900 Dancers and heavy weight competitions with activities such as the traditional caber toss, hammer throw and tug-of-war. Fergus also holds North American’s largest truck show, hosted every July and the Fergus fall fair in September.

A picturesque heritage town driven by the community provides an excellent place to live. Fergus real estate is close to major cities and roads including the GTA and only 25km from Guelph, ON.
